Wyatt Walter talks about his role as ’Corby’ on ’Killing It’ now streaming on Peacock

Wyatt Walter recently joined host Elias in the cave! Wyatt stars in the new Peacock series "Killing It," opposite Craig Robinson and Scott MacArthur.
'Killing it' follows a group of snake hunters in Miami who are all competing for the very large cash prize of $20,000, given to the person who kills the most pythons. Wyatt plays 'Corby,' the son of python hunter and aspiring YouTube star 'Brock,' (played by Scott MacArthur.) 'Corby' spends the season going on adventures with his dad as they enter the cut throat world of snake hunting.
Wyatt Walter's upbringing in North Carolina largely influenced his passion for acting and his desire to make a breakthrough in the entertainment industry. Wyatt came upon acting by accepting a bribe from his grandmother who promised donuts if he went to an audition. Upon booking the role, Wyatt and his family moved to Los Angeles where he immediately got an agent and began taking acting classes. Past roles include "Sons of Thunder", "NCIS: New Orleans" and "Sydney to the Max".
When not acting, Wyatt enjoys skateboarding, working out, fishing, and spending time in the kitchen cooking or baking. Wyatt also enjoys spending time with his four rescue dogs, two rescue cats, and two rescue guinea pigs. Wyatt is passionate about giving back to his community in North Carolina and frequently volunteers at local food banks.

On April 28th, 2022, the 5th Annual LACHSA Future Artists Gala, will feature world-class performances by some of the most talented student artists in LA County in music, theatre, cinematic arts, dance and visual arts. LACHSA alumni and guest hosts for the evening are Taran Killam (SNL, SIngle Parents, New Girl, Hamilton) and Andrew Chappelle (Hamilton, Mamma Mia, Blindspotting, Moesha). The evening raises funds to support the tuition-free arts programming at the LA County High School for the Arts.

Melina Kanakaredes, Gala Producer
Melina Kanakaredes’ television credits include NYPD Blue (1993), The Practice (1997) and Oz (1997). She also received two Emmy nominations for her work on Guiding Light.
Melina starred for five seasons as Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC-TV critically acclaimed series Providence (1999), and received the 2000 TV Guide Award for Favorite Actress in a Drama. She returned to television in the CBS series CSI: NY (2004) opposite Gary Sinise.
Melina’s film credits include co-starring opposite Robert De Niro in the film 15 Minutes (2001), Rounders (1998), Dangerous Beauty (1998) and The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996). 
In addition to being a long-time supporter, Melina is a LACHSA alumni parent and a member of the LACHSA Foundation Board of Directors.

Cedric Sanders talks about his role on Michael Bay’s ’Ambulance’

Cedric Sanders recently joined host Elias in the cave! You can catch Cedric as Officer Mark Ranshaw on Michael Bay's latest film 'Ambulance'.
Michael Bay's highly anticipated film, Ambulance. Needing money to cover his wife's medical bills, a decorated veteran (Jake Gyllenhaal) teams up with his adoptive brother (Vahya Abdul-Mateen II) to steal $32 million from a Los Angeles bank. However, when their getaway goes spectacularly wrong, the desperate thieves hijack an ambulance that's carrying a severely wounded cop and an EMT worker. Caught in a high-speed chase, the two siblings must figure out a way to outrun the law while keeping their hostages alive. Sanders plays Officer Mark Ranshaw, a patrol officer for the LAPD, who's partner is the injured cop in the ambulance that gets kidnapped by Gyllenhaal and Abdul-Mateen II. Throughout the film he is determined to save his partner, single handedly if he must, even if it means risking his life without backup.
Sanders is best known for the Sundance Film Festival hit The Ten starring Jessica Alba and Paul Rudd. He is also known for his supporting role in American Gangster opposite Academy Award Winner Denzel Washington. A flurry of films rapidly ensued; including a lead role in the independent faith-based feature The Least Among You which also stared Oscar winner Louis Gossett Jr. Sanders received the Best Actor Award at the San Diego Film Festival for that performance. A supporting role in David Fincher’s critically acclaimed Oscar nominated film The Social Network as well as the Indie car racer dramady Rocksteady and All Things Fall Apart starring Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. 
On the small screen Cedric has lent his talent to multiple hit television shows like “Law & Order,” “Law & Order: SVU” with Emmy nominated actor Andre Braugher, “Life Support” with Queen Latifah, “NCIS,” “Bones,” “9-1-1” and a series regular role on the ABC drama “Mind Games” opposite Steve Zahn and Christian Slater.

Susanne Blakeslee voices the fairy Wanda, the slightly more responsible, pragmatic and better half of Cosmo. She’s got every inch of enthusiasm, excitement and energy as her husband... but Wanda is smart enough to tell Viv & Roy that actions have consequences. And then, ignores them because she’s in this to have a good time too!
Daran Norris voices the fairy Cosmo, who is a whirlwind of energy and the husband of Wanda. He rips through Viv & Roy’s life with a combination of optimism, fun and the slightly dangerous inability to see any repercussions to his actions. Aside from the fact that he’s pure fairy magic, Cosmo’s biggest power is his sense of fun. He’s all impulse. Everything is brand-new and exciting to him, even if he’s done it four thousand times.

Audrey Grace Marshall stars as Vivian “Viv” Turner, an old soul who dreams of a quiet life on a farm. Viv, who is often the most level-headed person in a room, is a fish out of water in the chaos of this colorful, odd town of Dimmsdale. Viv is forced to adjust to a new normal, which comes with an unpredictable new family, including her new stepbrother, Roy. But with Roy’s kindness and two Fairy Godparents on her side maybe she can call this place home.
Tyler Wladis stars as Roy Raskin, who is equally confident as he is kindhearted, and is an eternal optimist with the best intentions. Outwardly, Roy exudes the qualities of a quintessential jock: confident, handsome, insanely talented at sports. He even has his own fan club at school that call themselves “Roy’s Boys.” But despite his accolades, Roy’s spirit is pure and like a ray of sunshine. When Viv moves to town, he is thrilled to welcome her and determined to show her that she, like him, is going to absolutely love living in Dimmsdale.

Ryan-James Hatanaka stars as Ty Turner, Viv’s father who uproots their lives after marrying his high school sweetheart, Rachel. He can be overly confident and somewhat oblivious, but generally means well.  An semi-professional ballroom dancer, Ty loves to dance and he fits perfectly into the unapologetic and proud town of Dimmsdale.
Laura Bell Bundy stars as Rachel Raskin, the proud mom of her talented son, Roy, and the high school sweetheart of Viv’s dad, Ty. Born and raised in Dimmsdale, Rachel is incredibly confident and loud, and can be a bit of a diva. Thrilled to be opening a ballroom dance studio with Ty, Rachel literally dances through life without a care in the world.
Garrett Clayton stars as Dustan Lumberlake, a handsome and famous pop star in the town Dimmsdale. He serves on the Council of Pop Superstars and as a judge on the Dimm Factor, and first encounters Viv and Roy when they violate the council’s use of the forbidden phrase. Dustan is a recurring character in the town and the kids wish for his presence to perform on demand.
